PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project assessed the current opioid programs offered by safety net hospitals and explored barriers and facilitators to adopting and implementing transitional opioid programs (TOPs) by interviewing hospital decision makers and community partners at five safety net hospitals, and convened an expert panel to identify and tailor high-yield implementation strategies to increase the availability of TOPs and other evidence-based opioid services in underserved communities.
