PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This  study explores perspectives on care-seeking and health decisions among Black, African American, and Latino emerging adults (ages 18-29) living with HIV. This qualitative study will capture how stigma experiences rooted in everyday racialized experiences in health and healthcare, the social construction of health beliefs, and social location have affected individual care-seeking attitudes and health beliefs and influence their health decisions and behaviors.
