PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this study was to explore overall knowledge of fentanyl among opioid users and determine the extent to which those who are aware of fentanyl understand its potency and employed similar drug using techniques when using fentanyl. The study also assessed knowledge of fentanyl and its associated risks among syringe exchange and drug treatment program staff and determined how they responded to the increased presence of fentanyl.
