Funded by: National Institute on Drug Abuse
Project dates: September 2022 - June 2027
Principal Investigator: Cerda, Magdalena
Principal Investigator: DiMaggio C
PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This study will develop a publicly available dashboard for data on US state and local laws regulating and enforcing harm reduction and access to drug paraphernalia, availability of harm reduction services, and overdose morbidity and mortality statistics. Evidence will be identified and made available on the optimal combination of laws needed at the state and local level to reduce overdoses, and the conditions needed at the local level to maximize the impact of such laws.
