Principal Investigator: Walters, SuzanProject dates: March 2026 - December 2030
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
People who inject drugs (PWID) are vulnerable to HIV and overdose. The study will evaluate the implementation and effectiveness of LINKED (Leveraging Interpersonal Networks to Keep Engagement in PrEP & MOUD), a social network intervention that trains peer change agents to promote PrEP and MOUD uptake among PWID. Implementation research will identify key facilitators and barriers to adoption, ensuring the development of a scalable strategy package for broader dissemination.
