PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project characterized trends in psychosis-related emergency department (ED) visits and hospitalizations across the Denver Health System and evaluated whether laws that lowered restrictions on cannabis sales in Colorado were associated with changes in rates of ED visits and hospitalizations for psychosis with and without comorbid cannabis use disorder diagnoses. It also assessed associations between cannabis dispensary density in Denver and rates of ED visits and hospitalizations for psychosis.
